Burning Velvet is the musical output and solo project for singer/songwriter and home recordist Nicolai Wøldike Schmith.
He is based in Svendborg, Denmark and plays lo-fi americana with great appreciation of the raw and unpolished sound. It is a rather new project on the danish music scene and Burning Velvet is one of the finest exponents of pure americana, folk and country.
